Terms and conditions
1. The competition period runs from 00:01 on Sunday 20th November 2022 until 23:59 Sunday 18th December 2022.
2. The competition is only available to customers who have an account with 10bet and are over the age of 18 years.
3. Self-excluded persons may not enter the competition.
4. The leaderboard is based on the total number of points that customers have accumulated for the duration of the competition.
5. Points are earned when customers have placed qualifying bets.
6. Qualifying bets are sports bets from any competition on minimum odds of 1.20
, or games / live games bets.
7. Invalid or cancelled bets, free bets, draw bets and cashed out bets do not count as qualifying bets.
8. Each qualifying bet earns a customer 1 base point for the leaderboard.
9. Bonus points from qualifying bets can also be earned, based on the following criteria:
• For bets with odds in the range of 1.50 – 4.99: 3 bonus points
• For bets with odds in the range of 5.00 – 9.99: 5 bonus points
• For bets with odds of 10.00 or higher: 10 bonus points
• For bets with stakes in the range of R100 – R249: 3 bonus points
• For bets with stakes in the range of R250 – R499: 5 bonus points
• For bets with stakes of R500 or higher: 10 bonus points
• For a placed combo bet type: 2 bonus points
10. For example, a sports combo bet with a stake of R300 on odds of 12.50 will earn a customer 18 points (1 base point for the qualifying bet + 10 bonus points for the bet with odds of 10.00 or higher + 5 bonus points for the bet stake in the range of R250 - R499 + 2 bonus points for the combo bet).
11. A customer may not win more than one of the prizes listed below in clause 12, for the duration of the World Cup Leaderboard competition.
12. Customers stand a chance to win one (1) of the following prizes:
• Final Leaderboard Position 1: R10,000
• Final Leaderboard Position 2: R7,500
• Final Leaderboard Position 3: R5,000
• Final Leaderboard Position 4: R2,500
• Final Leaderboard Position 5: R1,750
• Final Leaderboard Position 6: R1,000
• Final Leaderboard Position 7: R750
• Final Leaderboard Position 8: R500
• Final Leaderboard Position 9: R250
• Final Leaderboard Position 10: R200
• Final Leaderboard Position 11-12: R50 Free Sports Bet
• Final Leaderboard Position 13-14: R25 Free Sports Bet
• Final Leaderboard Position 15-16: R20 Free Sports Bet
• Final Leaderboard Position 17-18: R15 Free Sports Bet
• Final Leaderboard Position 19-20: R10 Free Sports Bet
13. Customers can follow the Leaderboard standings at any time on the Leaderboard page.
14. In case of a tie in points among the Top 20 players at the end of the competition, the player who reached their final points first will finish on the higher place.
15. After the end of the competition, a due diligence check will be done on the final leaderboard standings to ensure that no prizes are awarded to customers who have performed fraudulent activity.
16. The final leaderboard standings and prizes will be confirmed no later than 72 hours after the end of the competition.
17. All winners will receive their prizes directly into their 10bet accounts, and will be notified via SMS and/or phone call no later than 24 hours after the confirmation of the final leaderboard standings.
18. Free bets will expire after 7 (seven) days once issued to the customer, if unused.
19. By entering the competition, Customers agree:
• to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of your name and photographs in such publicity subject to the winners right to decline participation in such activities.
• that 10bet may collect and process your personal information for the purpose of this competition.
20. 10bet reserves the right to suspend customers from the competition due to fraudulent activity.
21. 10bet reserves the right to change prize conditions and / or to vary, suspend or cancel the competition at its own discretion for any reason whatsoever and without notice. In such event you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against 10bet and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against 10bet.
22. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants and / or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold 10bet, its Directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors harmless from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from participating in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize.
23. Every customer participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions, the General 10bet Terms & Conditions and the 10bet General Promotion Terms, by virtue of participation.
24. By opting in to receive offers and communications, you agree that 10bet may use the details you provide us with to contact you about products and services that may be of interest to you.
